Tuesday night after a fairly severe bout with what seemed at the time to be shin splints, I looked like this:
I was also fairly certain I was going to die.

Wednesday I went to my favorite kind of doctor, a sports medicine doctor at the Bountiful clinic.
Turns out it's a bout of tendinitis. Easily fixed by 3-7 days in a boot.
And now I look this this.
