Sometimes you workout hard before work and think it won't matter because you just change into scrubs when you get there anyway but then you realize that actually you forgot to bring a regular bra so a sweaty sports bra under clean scrubs it is.
Also, run on sentences and sentence fragments.
#worthit - I can't tell you some of the states in which I've showed up to work in the name of a good swim or the like. There have been sweltering summers I've drank hot tea all morning to warm but the swim waters running through my veins. Also spring water does cray things to my hair...
ReplyDeleteA good workout is always worth showing up to work looking like a crazy lady. Better to look like one than to be one, which is the alternative.

DeleteRemember that time I was on call, and I knew I had a case that started at a specific time, because, you know, I checked the bed board from home, and I went for a run, knowing for sure I'd have enough time to go for said run and shower before the case ended? And then remember how exactly halfway through my run, at the very furthest point from my apartment, I got called to come in? Never ran so fast in my life, and made it to the hospital within my 30 minute window. With a sweaty sports bra. Good endurance training, though, eh?
